How far is Sayers Dental from Laverton?
Laverton is to the east of Hoppers Crossing, so the drive to our practice on Sayers Road is further than from our next-door suburbs. It may be worth it if a Saturday appointment or continuity with one team matters to you. Free on-site parking is available.
Can I book a Saturday appointment?
Yes. We open Saturdays as well as Tuesday to Friday, which may suit you if leaving work on a weekday is difficult. Find current hours on our contact page.
Do you offer bulk billing for children?
For eligible children, yes. Under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule, children aged 0 to 17 can receive basic dental services bulk billed, subject to a benefit cap over two calendar years. Ask our team to check eligibility.
I have facial swelling from a tooth. What should I do?
Call us on (03) 9749 1178 as early as possible. Swelling can be a sign of a dental infection; urgent cases are fitted in wherever possible, ideally on the day you call. If the swelling affects your breathing or swallowing, or we are closed, call 000 or go straight to a hospital emergency department.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is free on-site parking. Montessori Minds Hoppers Crossing shares our building, and our rooms are on the ground floor.
Which health funds can I use?
We use HICAPS, so you can claim with most private health funds at the desk. Members of nib, HCF and Westfund may receive preferred-provider benefits with us. If your cover comes through work, check your policy for annual limits.
