How far is Sayers Dental from Truganina?
Not far at all. Truganina sits next door to Hoppers Crossing, just to the north, and our practice is on Sayers Road. It is a short drive, and free on-site parking is waiting when you arrive.
Are you open on Saturdays?
Yes. We are open Tuesday to Saturday and closed on Sunday and Monday. If you would like a Saturday time, booking a little ahead gives you more choice. Current hours are on our contact page.
Do you bulk bill children's dental care?
For eligible children, yes. The Child Dental Benefits Schedule covers basic services such as check-ups, X-rays, cleans and fillings for children aged 0 to 17 whose family qualifies, up to a capped amount over two calendar years. Our reception team can check eligibility when you book.
Can you see me for a dental emergency?
Call (03) 9749 1178 as early in the day as you can. We keep time aside for urgent problems and will do our best to see you the same day, and being next door means the trip in is a short one. Outside opening hours, or if swelling affects your breathing or swallowing, go to a hospital emergency department or call 000.
Is there parking at the practice?
Yes, free on-site parking is available. You will find us at ground level in the Montessori Minds Hoppers Crossing building.
Can I claim on my health fund?
Yes. HICAPS lets you claim with most private health funds on the day, so you pay only the gap. We are a preferred provider for nib, HCF and Westfund. How much you get back depends on your level of cover.
