How do I get to Sayers Dental from Point Cook?
Head north-west from Point Cook into Hoppers Crossing; our practice is at 1/483 Sayers Road. It is a straightforward drive, and there is free on-site parking once you arrive. If you use public transport, Hoppers Crossing station is on the Werribee line; a journey planner will show the final connection.
Are you open at weekends?
We are open on Saturdays, but closed on Sundays and Mondays. Weekday appointments run from Tuesday to Friday. See our contact page for current hours.
Do you bulk bill under the CDBS?
Yes, for eligible children. The Child Dental Benefits Schedule provides a capped benefit over two calendar years for basic services such as check-ups, X-rays, cleans and fillings. Reception can confirm your child's eligibility before the appointment.
Can I be seen quickly for a dental emergency?
Call us on (03) 9749 1178 as soon as we open. Each day we are open, part of the schedule is kept for emergencies, and we aim to see you the day you call. If we are closed, or you have facial swelling affecting breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding or a serious injury, call 000 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Is there parking when I arrive?
Yes. There is free on-site parking at the practice. We are on the ground floor, in the same building as Montessori Minds Hoppers Crossing.
Which health funds can I claim with?
Most private health funds, using HICAPS at reception. We are a preferred provider for nib, HCF and Westfund, which can affect the rebate on some items depending on your policy. Check your cover for annual limits and waiting periods.
