Why some Sanctuary Lakes patients make the longer trip.
Sanctuary Lakes sits in the south-east of Point Cook, near the bay, so reaching Sayers Road in Hoppers Crossing is a longer drive than for many of our patients. We would rather be upfront about that. If you only need a routine check-up, convenience may matter more, although you are always welcome here.
Where we can help is with treatment that benefits from careful planning. Our principal dentist, Dr Rashi Gupta, has a special interest in dental implants, full-arch rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry, and has completed postgraduate implant training. Implant treatment is planned with 3D imaging and a written plan that sets out the options, risks, timeframes and costs.
This kind of treatment usually involves several appointments, so we try to group visits where that is clinically sensible, and Saturdays are available. Read about Dr Gupta.

Is Sayers Dental close to Sanctuary Lakes?
Not especially. Sanctuary Lakes is in the south-east of Point Cook, near the bay, and our practice is on Sayers Road in Hoppers Crossing, so the drive is longer than from the suburbs next door. It may be worth the trip if you are considering implant, full-arch or cosmetic treatment, and there is free on-site parking when you arrive.
Can I have my consultation on a Saturday?
Yes. We are open Tuesday to Saturday, and a Saturday consultation can make the longer drive easier to fit in. See the contact page for current hours.
Do you bulk bill children under the CDBS?
Yes, for children aged 0 to 17 who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Basic services can be bulk billed within the scheme's two-year cap, and our team will check eligibility when you book.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
Call us on (03) 9749 1178 early in the day. Because of the distance, phone before you leave so we can advise you first; we leave room in each day for urgent cases and aim to see you before the day is out. After hours, or if you have swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding or a serious injury, the right place is a hospital emergency department, or call 000.
Where do I park?
Free on-site parking is available at 1/483 Sayers Road, where our ground-floor rooms share a building with Montessori Minds.
Will my health fund contribute to implants?
It depends on your level of extras cover, annual limits and waiting periods, as implant cover varies widely between policies. Once you have a written estimate with item numbers, you can check with your fund. Claims go through HICAPS on the spot, and we hold preferred-provider status with nib, HCF and Westfund.
